What happens
The issue says there is currently no way to use CO2.js itself to generate an SCI score. It sketches either an option on the existing model or a separate SCI API taking operational emissions, embodied emissions and a functional unit such as a page visit. The SCI specification describes how to calculate the carbon intensity of software as a rate, where lower is better.
